Project Manager | York | Tier 1 Contractor | £65k - £75k + Package\n\nI’m working with a leading Tier 1 contractor renowned for delivering large-scale projects across the education, healthcare, industrial, and commercial sectors\n\nThey are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a c£15m new build education scheme in York\n\nThis is a site-based delivery role, with responsibility for driving the day-to-day management of the project through construction to handover\n\nThe role;\n\nManage the delivery of a new build education project to programme, budget and quality targets\n\t\nCoordinate site teams, subcontractors and consultants to ensure smooth project execution\n\t\nMaintain and update construction programmes and short-term lookaheads\n\t\nSupport commercial control, procurement and contract administration under JCT\n\t\nEnsure high standards of health & safety, quality and environmental compliance\n\t\nIdentify and manage risks, issues and change as the project progresses\n\t\nAct as a key point of contact for client and consultant teams\n\nYou will need;\n\nExperience delivering new-build construction projects in the £10m–£20m range\n\t\nBackground in education, public sector or similar regulated environments \n\t\nWorking knowledge of JCT Design & Build or Traditional contracts\n\t\nDegree -qualified (or equivalent) in construction, engineering or a related discipline\n\t\nConfident managing site teams including Site Managers, Engineers and subcontractors\n\t\nStrong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills\n\nIf you are a proactive, experienced Project Manager looking to lead key projects for a well-established contractor, please apply
