Job Description

Project Manager - Power & Renewable Project

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager (High Voltage) to lead the delivery of MV & HV electrical projects. The successful candidate will manage all phases of the project lifecycle, from initial handover through construction, commissioning, and close-out, ensuring delivery is safe, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead project start-up activities including planning, procurement strategy, scheduling, cost control, and mobilisation

Develop and manage construction programmes, safety plans, quality plans, and resource plans

Oversee day-to-day site operations and manage multidisciplinary project teams

Monitor project progress, productivity, risk, cost, and commercial performance

Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) and QA/QC standards

Chair project and subcontractor meetings and provide regular reporting to senior management

Manage testing, commissioning, handover documentation, and final account agreement

Produce project close-out reports and ensure smooth demobilisation

Requirements:

Third-level qualification in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or strong relevant trade background

Proven experience delivering Substation, High Voltage, and Medium Voltage projects (essential)

Experience managing multidisciplinary project teams

Strong commercial awareness and project control experience

Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

Must have British Passport/UK Permanent
