About the role

We are supporting a large, complex public sector organisation through a period of organisational change and service transition. As part of this, there is a need for a Project Manager to lead a focused piece of work around security alignment and readiness.

This role sits within a broader transformation programme and will play an important part in ensuring that security arrangements are clearly understood, coordinated and delivered in a structured and practical way.

The role

You will lead the planning and coordination of security-related activities across multiple workstreams. This includes mapping existing arrangements, supporting personnel security processes, and ensuring that key milestones are delivered in line with programme timelines.

The work is varied but grounded in practical delivery, bringing structure, clarity and pace to a set of important but sometimes complex requirements.

What you'll be doing Leading the mapping of current security arrangements across physical, personnel, site and continuity areas Bringing together information from multiple stakeholders into a clear, usable view of the current state Coordinating key personnel security activities, including vetting and alignment with national security processes Developing and maintaining a clear roadmap and milestone plan for security deliverables Tracking progress, managing risks and dependencies, and keeping delivery on course Working closely with programme leadership and operational teams to ensure alignment and readiness What you'll deliver A clear, consolidated

complex, regulated or public sector environments , where priorities and constraints need careful balancing Strong

stakeholder engagement skills , able to work across different teams and levels of seniority A practical, delivery-focused approach — able to move work forward without over-complicating it An understanding of

security-related work
