Were looking for an experienced Project Manager to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to a high standard. You will take ownership of exciting projects across sectors including Build to Rent (BTR), student accommodation, commercial, residential, public sector, education and healthcare. As Project Manager within our Building Division North, youll oversee the full lifecycle of construction projects, from early planning through to handover. Youll lead multidisciplinary teams, drive progress, ensure quality and safety, and maintain strong client engagement throughout.
What are some of your key responsibilities? Lead and manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring on time, on budget delivery.
Lead and manage all design, procurement and operational aspects of the project internally and externally.
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to understand project requirements, objectives, and success measures.
Develop robust project plans, schedules and resource strategies
Monitor and report on progress, including KPIs, including the completion of any progress reports internally and externally.
Champion a culture of health, safety, environment, quality, and innovation on-site, ensuring all work complies to a high standard with relevant legislation, regulations, and company standards, processes and procedures.
Lead, motivate and support project teams, promoting a collaborative culture.
Build and maintain strong client relationships and ensure exceptional service and communication, providing regular updates.
Manage and control compliance with contract and statutory obligations.
Manage and control contract costs, ensuring financial performance aligns with project and business objectives.
What Youll Bring....
Essential: Proven Project Management experience within the construction industry.
Experience delivering projects across relevant sectors (BTR, student accommodation, commercial, education, healthcare, public sector, residential).
Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing and best practice
Proven experience in a Project Management role within the construction industry.
Experience delivering projects within relevant sectors such as Build to Rent (BTR), student accommodation, public sector, commercial, residential, education and healthcare.
Awareness of different construction contracts, with the ability to manage complex contracts with the support of a commercial team.
Degree (or equivalent) in Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency with project management software (MS Project, Asta, etc.).
Strong commercial awareness and financial management capability.
Commitment to health, safety, environment and quality.
Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel.
Degree (or equivalent) in Construction Management, Engineering or related field
Desirable: Chartered or working toward professional accreditation (CIOB, RICS, ICE)
Experience managing complex, large scale or multi site projects
Knowledge of Methods of Construction (MMC) or sustainable construction practices
