Project Manager - Contract Role

Location: London - 1 day per week on site

Contract: 3 months

Start: ASAP

Rate: £500 per day, outside IR35


Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Project Manager to support a specialist operational function, providing project, process and financial oversight across a range of business activities and workstreams.


This role will act as a central coordination point across internal stakeholders, suppliers and governance processes, ensuring activity is well managed, reporting is accurate, and key initiatives are delivered effectively.


The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-moving environment, bringing structure, visibility and strong delivery discipline across operational and business improvement activity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the central coordination point for operational activity across the function.
  • Drive delivery of key initiatives and improvement projects, tracking actions, milestones and dependencies across multiple workstreams.
  • Monitor programme spend, process invoices and maintain accurate budget tracking and monthly reporting.
  • Coordinate preparation of materials for internal and external reviews, ensuring documentation and reporting requirements are met.
  • Support process mapping, governance documentation and continuous improvement activity.
  • Act as the main point of coordination for external suppliers, monitoring service delivery, timelines and cost estimates.
  • Support supplier onboarding and maintain supporting process and guidance documentation.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure priorities are aligned and activity is progressing to plan.
