Are you ready to lead transformative projects that make a real difference? We are seeking a dynamic Project Manager to help deliver our ambitious corporate plan and spearhead a bold new change programme.
About the role
As a Project Manager at Karbon, you'll play a pivotal role in managing a diverse portfolio of projects that enhance our systems, data, and processes. You'll be part of a collaborative team driving innovation and continuous improvement-ensuring we deliver outstanding services to our customers while maximising value for money and operational excellence.
You'll be instrumental in:
- Delivering projects using agile and other methodologies
- Supporting the delivery of our strategic change programme
- Collaborating across teams to embed best practices and drive performance
About you
We're looking for a motivated and experienced project professional who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment. You'll bring:
- At least 2 years' experience managing projects in an agile setting
- A recognised agile qualification
- Proven ability to deliver complex projects using a range of methodologies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A passion for continuous improvement and collaborative working
About our team
The successful candidate will work in our Business Development, Communications and Change team, reporting to the Project & Business Improvement Manager, Lesley Keith.
The team is a key enabling team that works collaboratively with the business to deliver expertise in business development, communications, change and improvement in line with our stronger foundations strategy.

Key Information

- Salary is £49,762 per annum plus a Karbon car payment of £2,317 per annum
- Location: Based at either our Gosforth (NE12 8EG) or Stanley (DH9 7YE) office
- Agile working with a mix of homeworking and office-based working. We expect the role will require a good amount of office-based work to facilitate workshops, collaboration, and relationship building
- Some travel to our office locations in the North East may be required

We provide a generous benefits package including 26 days annual leave on commencement rising to 31 days after 3 years' service, birthday leave, occupational pension and a health cash plan, with the option of a flexible pot towards enhanced benefits.
