Project Manager / Senior Authorised Person – 12 Month Contract – South East, England – Outside IR35 – Offshore wind – April start


I am currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager / Senior Authorised Person to support a major infrastructure project within the transmission and distribution sector. This role would suit someone with a strong engineering background who combines HV authorisations with proven project delivery experience.


The Role:

  • Act as the key interface between the client and site team
  • Take full ownership of project delivery (programme, budget & scope)
  • Manage stakeholders and provide regular progress updates
  • Ensure full compliance with HSE regulations
  • Oversee work packages and coordinate site teams
  • Provide electrical safety from the system
  • Issue and cancel safety documents
  • Prepare and implement switching schedules


Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Project Manager within HV / Transmission / Substation projects
  • Current or previous Senior Authorised Person authorisations (preferably 132kV+)
  • Strong understanding of Electrical Safety Rules
  • Experience managing budgets and reporting on financial performance
  • Ability to liaise confidently with clients and senior stakeholders
  • Engineering, production or maintenance background


Logistics:

  • Hybrid but preferably situated in the South East of England
  • Monday to Friday
  • 12 month contract (Outside IR35)
  • April start
