Responsibilities
As an Assistant Project Manager, you will:
* Assist in coordinating Noise & Vibration projects, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within scope. * Support the development of project plans, schedules, and progress reports. * Collect, organize, and analyze data related to noise and vibration, sharing insights with the team. * Collaborate with contractors, team members, and clients to achieve project goals. * Contribute ideas and solutions to minimize noise and vibration impacts during project brainstorming sessions.
The Assistant Project Manager position comes with a salary ranging from £40,000 - £45,000 per annum, which will reflect your qualifications and experience.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will:
* Have a basic understanding of or interest in Noise & Vibration concepts, with a willingness to learn. * Be eager to learn project management tools (experience with MS Project is a plus but not required). * Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail. * Possess excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with teams and stakeholders. * Exhibit a proactive attitude and enthusiasm for problem-solving.
In this role, your daily activities will include:
* Attending project meetings, taking notes, and following up on action items. * Organizing project files, tracking progress against milestones, and managing schedules. * Gathering and reviewing noise and vibration data, interpreting findings with increasing independence. * Assisting in the preparation of project reports and documentation. * Liaising with contractors and suppliers to ensure project resources are in place. * Shadowing experienced team members on-site to support project delivery.
