Project Manager

We're delighted to be working with a well-established, growing and highly ambitious IT MSP in the search for a Project Manager to join their Professional Services team.

Our client has a wide, varied client base into which they provide a broad range of solutions. These are primarily based on Microsoft technologies so, though we're not expecting a techie, our client would like someone who's familiar with delivering projects involving the Microsoft product stack.

Also very important is the ability to communicate well with different audiences, balance the priorities of concurrent projects and manage various delivery teams.

Previous experience working for an IT MSP is a pre-requisite for this role. The role is based from our client's London office and has a hybrid working pattern, with two days from home per week. A lot of client contact will be remote but travel to client sites will be needed on occasion.

Project Manager - responsibilities

• Manage projects from planning to production
• Work with project teams to define requirements & plans
• Plan and schedule project deliverables, goals and milestones
• Manage expectations of internal and external stakeholders
• Co-ordinate with third party suppliers
• Ensure correct documentation for each stage of the project and handover
• Deliver in line with established project frameworks and quality standards

Project Manager - responsibilities

• Proven experience as a Project Manager gained at an IT MSP (essential)
• Outstanding communication skills
• Strong leadership, critical thinking and attention to detail
• A good understanding of the current Microsoft product stack
• Formal Project Management qualification (PRINCE2, PMP) beneficial.
