Role: P6 Project Planner - Nuclear Projects Location: Staffordshire, Hybrid Contract: Permanent Salary: Marked Related

VIQU is looking for an experienced Primavera P6 Project Planner to join a leading engineering organisation delivering major nuclear projects. This is a high-profile role working on multi-million-pound control and instrumentation projects - from greenfield developments to upgrades of existing PLC/Scada systems and safety-critical solutions.

The Role

Lead the planning function for major nuclear engineering projects using Primavera P6

Create and maintain detailed project schedules, resource plans, and progress reports

Work closely with Project Managers to ensure achievable timelines and milestones

Support delay analysis, compensation events, and forensic planning

Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to meet project schedules

Maintain databases, compliance records, and H&S documentation

Coach and mentor junior planners in best practice and P6 usage

Essential Skills & Experience

British-born , SC clearance eligible

Proven track record in Primavera P6 planning for main contractors

Strong NEC3/NEC4 contract knowledge and CEMAR experience

Experience supporting delay claims and producing impact programmes

Skilled in project controls, reporting, and risk management

Excellent communication, organisation, and analytical skills

Desirable Skills

Earned Value Analysis, S-curves, cost planning and reporting

Supply chain planning, material procurement, and logistics

Consolidated project reporting across multiple contracts

MS Project planning experience alongside P6
