Project Quantity Surveyor – Drylining – South East London

Our client is a well-established and reputable specialist contractor with a turnover exceeding £200 million, delivering high-quality projects across London and the South East. With continued growth and a strong project pipeline, they are now seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding commercial team.
This role will see you providing full commercial support across drylining projects, driving profitability through effective cost management, timely applications, subcontractor control, and accurate financial reporting.
Responsibilities
• Commercial Management Provide full commercial oversight across projects, maintaining and maximising profitability through effective cost control and value management.
• Contracts & Tendering Create, review, and manage tender documentation, contracts, and formal notices, liaising with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure clarity and compliance.
• Risk & Financial Control Demonstrate strong commercial awareness, identifying and managing financial and contractual risks while driving favourable project outcomes.
• Negotiation & Stakeholder Management Lead negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers, resolving issues effectively while maintaining strong working relationships across project teams. xehkeey
• Reporting & Final Accounts Manage project reporting, applications, and financial data, ensuring accuracy within systems and taking ownership of final accounts.
Requirements
Must hold a degree in Quantity Surveying Must have 2–5 years’ experience with a Drylining Contractor Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes Highly organised, driven, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, competitive environment
