Property Finance AssistantLocation: Hammersmith, London Salary: £30,000 – £34,000 (DOE) Hours: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 6:00 pmThe OpportunityAn established and highly regarded residential property management company in Hammersmith is looking for a Property Finance Assistant to join its friendly and growing team.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on, day-to-day finance work within a stable property environment. You'll play a key role in keeping the financial operations of a well-managed residential portfolio running smoothly, working closely with Property Managers and Directors in a collaborative, supportive office.This role is ideal for someone who values structure, accuracy, and ownership of their work, rather than a purely technical accounting or audit-focused career path.What You'll Be DoingYou'll take responsibility for the core financial administration of a residential property portfolio, including: Managing purchase and sales ledgersProcessing supplier invoices and payments accurately and on timePerforming regular bank reconciliationsAllocating rent and reconciling landlord paymentsSupporting VAT preparation and month-end reportingMaintaining accurate financial records using XeroManaging utility accounts and supplier queriesProviding general finance and administrative support to the wider team About YouYou are organised, detail-focused, and confident in handling transactional finance tasks in a busy environment.
