Specialist Division of international insurance broker requires an experienced property adjuster. You will handle a varied caseload of landlords/buy to let, holiday homes/blocks of flats/non-standard properties, as well as some domestic and HNW (private clients) risks, generally 60/40 in favour of commercial. It requires cradle-to-grave claims handling, for losses generally up to £100,000 but could be higher if experience permits. You will be required to issue full ABI reports to the claims team who then review and provide instructions, so there is no delegated authority. The position is home-based handling losses throughout the Midlands. About you: Candidates can live anywhere within the West or East Midlands, but must be prepared to travel extensively throughout the region from their home base. You should have a minimum of 3-4 years in a property adjusting role and be comfortable working on your own initiative without the need for daily supervision. Professional qualifications through ACII would be preferred but are by no means essential.
