Approx. 20 hours per week (with progression to full-time)
About the Role
We are looking for a
proactive and experienced Property Manager
to take ownership of the day-to-day operations of a growing residential portfolio. This is a
hands-on role with real responsibility , suited to someone who can manage issues independently, make decisions confidently, and keep operations running smoothly without constant supervision. This is not a basic admin role
you will play a key part in
reducing reliance on the business owner
and improving how the portfolio is managed day-to-day.
About the Business
We are a growing property business managing a portfolio of
60+ properties across Essex , with plans to continue expanding. You will be joining a
small, supportive team , with the opportunity to step into a more senior position and grow with the business as it scales. We offer a

Key Responsibilities
Managing
tenant communication
(queries, issues, updates)
Coordinating and overseeing
maintenance works from start to finish
Liaising with contractors and ensuring timely completion
Handling
move-ins, move-outs and tenancy renewals
Maintaining accurate records and updating systems
Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the portfolio
Requirements
Previous experience in
property management or residential lettings
Ability to
work independently and make decisions confidently
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
Driving licence and own vehicle essential
Must live within a
reasonable distance of Hornchurch / Essex
Willingness to offer
occasional flexibility for evening or weekend work
(e.g. viewings) Able to provide
additional availability to support or cover during school holidays when required
Hours & Flexibility
Approx.
20 hours per week initially
Flexible working arrangement
Initial reduced hours may be offered during a short onboarding period
Opportunity to increase to
full-time as the portfolio grows
Occasional flexibility for
evening/weekend viewings if required
Some flexibility required to support
during school holidays when needed
