Property Procurement Officer\n\nLocation: South London\n\nSalary: £32,100.00-£35,845.00 per annum plus £3,500 area allowance\n\nHours: Monday-Friday 40 hours per week 8.30am-5pm\n\nContract Type: Permanent\n\nOur client, a leader in housing solutions, seeks a Property Procurement Officer for South London. This role is ideal for a property focused professional eager to make an impact by securing homes for communities.\n\nJob Objective:\nAs a Procurement Officer, you'll drive procurement success by managing a caseload, engaging stakeholders, and building strong partnerships. You'll source properties for long-term contracts, foster client relationships, and ensure smooth procurement operations while exceeding targets.\n\nDuties and Responsibilities:\n\n * Oversee property supply through accommodation partners, ensuring compliance with contracts and standards.\n\n * Build and maintain relationships with senior EHOs and regional stakeholders to meet legal requirements.\n\n * Collaborate with the Regional Operations Manager and Head of Procurement to optimise bed space efficiency.\n\n * Ensure adherence to values, policies, and ethical standards.\n\n * Monitor and report on performance targets and KPIs.\n\n * Foster continuous improvement and share best practices across the supply chain.\n\n * Promote a positive health and safety culture.\n\n * Manage property procurement administration and maintain accurate records.\n\n * Ensure proper property handover and sign-off processes are followed.\n\n * Ensure the company’s portfolio is compliance with Local Authority and other regulatory requirements.\n\n * Handle daily inquiries from landlords and agents.\n\n * Process Local Authority notices according to procedures.\n\n * Ensure internal audits and compliance standards are met.\n\nRequired Skills:\n\n * Proven knowledge and experience in sourcing/acquiring properties within the market.\n\n * Ready to hit the ground running, confident in securing new opportunities.\n\n * Able to engage effectively with stakeholders, landlords, and agents.\n\n * Skilled in influencing decisions, closing deals, and securing favourable terms.\n\n * Excellent planning abilities to manage multiple tasks and meet targets efficiently.\n\n * Thrives on achieving goals and exceeding expectations.\n\n * Works effectively both independently and as part of a team.\n\n * Capable of prioritising tasks in a fast-paced environment.\n\n * Persistent in overcoming challenges and securing deals.\n\n * Full, valid UK driving licence.\n\nBenefits:\n\n25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, Health Membership, Life cover, 6-month probation period, 4% employer and 4% employee pension contribution, Laptop, phone, and other equipment as needed, Employee Assistance Programme and Referral scheme.\n\nThe successful candidate will need to hold a valid UK driving licence and will be required to undergo a satisfactory DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check, in accordance with the responsibilities of the role.\n\nPlease contact Kerrie Collett on (phone number removed) to learn more, or submit your application today
