Purchasing Supervisor
to support the operational excellence and seamless flow of goods across the hotel. This role is vital in upholding the quality, precision, and efficiency that define the St. Regis experience. You will manage purchasing and receiving processes, ensure compliance with safety and brand standards, and maintain the impeccable organisation and accuracy required in a luxury environment. As
Purchasing Supervisor , you will be responsible for overseeing daily procurement operations, coordinating vendor relationships, supporting cost-effective supply management, and ensuring that all goods received meet the exacting standards of The St. Regis brand. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate and organised purchasing, receiving, and inventory records in line with brand and audit requirements Oversee the printing, organisation, and distribution of all purchasing-related documents Ensure full compliance with company safety procedures, food handling standards, and local, state, and federal regulations Conduct inventory audits, calculate figures for orders and costs, and monitor stock levels to ensure consistent availability Verify, track, and reconcile deliveries, shipping invoices, and receiving reports Receive, unload, and process deliveries with accuracy and efficiency Monitor PAR levels and proactively communicate low-stock notifications to management Refuse acceptance of damaged, incorrect, or non-compliant items Troubleshoot vendor delivery issues and manage product returns Maintain orderly storage areas and ensure proper filing and document control Support management with training, scheduling, counselling, and motivating associates Uphold quality expectations and ensure full adherence to brand standards Assist colleagues to ensure smooth operational coverage and prompt guest service Develop strong working relationships across departments to support hotel-wide goals Complete all required safety training and maintain excellent personal presentation Perform additional reasonable duties as requested Core Competencies We are seeking an operational leader with strong organisational capability, exceptional attention to detail, and a passion for delivering service excellence behind the scenes. You should have: A proven ability to manage inventory, purchasing, and vendor relationships in a hospitality or similarly high-volume environment Experience supervising or supporting teams in a fast-paced luxury operation Strong numerical, analytical, and administrative skills A commitment to accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement Confidence in managing multiple priorities with grace and efficiency The ability to foster positive, collaborative working relationships At
