As part of our world-class, performance-focused team you will have the opportunity to work within the Quality Team. You would be working Monday-Friday (37.5hrs)and reporting into the Quality Manager. Key Job Accountabilities To carry out material testing and maintain excellent housekeeping whilst following appropriate safety, environment, and risk management systems. Carry out routine laboratory tests ensuring the manufactured film meets the customer specification. Provide analysis of material samples to support decision making within department. Prepare for laboratory tasks using the appropriate techniques, procedures, SOPs, and methods. To analyse, interpret and evaluate data in order to identify results requiring further investigation by senior colleagues/ manager as appropriate. Produce reliable, accurate data and keep accurate records of quality testing undertaken. Use of specified laboratory equipment, including calibration where required. Recognise problems and apply appropriate scientific methods to identify causes and achieve solutions. To summarise test results and communicate these effectively to customers as required. Participate in continuous business performance improvement. To work to and promote a positive H&S culture. To assist the business with other activities as required. Qu Qualifications/Requirements Education: A-level Skills/Experience: Experience in quality assurance in a manufacturing environment (desirable but not essential as full training will be provided). Proficient in use of computer software such as Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. Personality/attributes: Attention to detail, proactive and solution focused, ability to perform independently.
