Job Title: QTS Tutor (Trafford) Location: Trafford Pay Rate: GBP25 per hour (starting rate) Job Type: Temporary | Part-Time | 20 hours per week Start Date: March 2026 We are seeking a qualified QTS Tutor to support students in Trafford, delivering expert one-to-one tuition in core subjects like Maths and English. You will work with students to help them improve their academic skills, boost confidence, and prepare for their exams. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one GCSE English and Maths tuition, tailored to individual learning needs.

Adapt teaching methods and materials to suit the student's pace and learning style. Assist students with study skills, revision techniques, and exam preparation. Build a positive, trusting relationship with students to foster a supportive learning environment.

Provide regular feedback to parents/carers and other professionals to track student progress. Essential Requirements: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status). Minimum 1 year of experience teaching or tutoring English or Maths, ideally at GCSE level.

Right to work in the UK. Must have, or be willing to undertake, an Enhanced DBS check. Desirable Qualifications: Experience teaching both Maths and English at GCSE level.

Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or additional learning needs.
