Visit us at optimaldentalhealth About the Role This is a fantastic opportunity for a Dental Nurse who loves working with children and is excited by holistic healthcare.

You’ll be supporting both paediatric care and (if desired) general and specialist treatments as part of our integrative dental team.

Core Responsibilities (Paediatric Sedation Nursing – 2 days per week): Assisting our paediatric specialist with treatments and assessments Providing calm, confident chairside support during inhalation sedation Monitoring and reassuring young patients throughout their visit Maintaining accurate, professional clinical notes Additional Responsibilities (Optional General Nursing – up to 3 days): Supporting general restorative clinicians with a wide range of treatments Assisting with cosmetic, endodontic, and preventative procedures Opportunity to work with our expanding team of specialists, including orthodontists and endodontists Contributing to a holistic care model that supports whole-body health Maintaining high standards of infection control and clinical hygiene Managing digital records, decontamination processes, and patient communication Providing clear, empathetic support to patients throughout their appointments What We’re Looking For GDC Registered Dental Nurse – essential Minimum 1 year of paediatric and sedation nursing experience – essential Immediate Life Support (ILS) certification – essential Sedation qualification – ideally in inhalation sedation (training can be provided) Radiography certification – desirable but not essential Familiarity with Dentally software – desirable (training available) A confident, caring communicator who puts patients at ease A team player who is flexible, well-organised, and passionate about holistic care What We Offer Competitive hourly pay from £18.00/hr, based on experience Part-time hours (2 days) with Paeds Specialist, OR Full-time Paeds and General Nursing A supportive, friendly, and professional team CPD support and in-house training opportunities Paid day off on your birthday and regular wellness days Central London location (Baker Street, NW1) with excellent transport links A unique chance to be part of a forward-thinking dental team that values your role in whole-body wellness How to Apply If you’re a dedicated Dental Nurse with a passion for paediatric care and a desire to work in a holistic, patient-centred practice, we’d love to hear from you.
