Key Responsibilities - Qualified Nursery Practitioner
As a Qualified Nursery Practitioner, you will:
Deliver engaging, high-quality learning activities aligned with the EYFS framework
Support child-led learning, independence, and communication development
Act as a key person for a group of children, ensuring their wellbeing and progress
Observe, assess, and record children's development accurately
Support outdoor learning and play in all weather conditions
Provide inclusive support for children with a range of needs
Work collaboratively with colleagues and leadership teams
Build positive relationships with parents and carers
Maintain a safe, stimulating, and nurturing learning environment
Requirements
Essential Criteria
Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare, or equivalent
Experience working within a nursery, preschool, or early years setting
Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
Good communication and teamwork skills
A positive, caring, and professional attitude
Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Right to work in the UK
