Responsibilities:

• Responding to new referrals from the public and professionals
• Carrying out assessments to identify support needs or safeguarding concernsSignposting families to the right services or progressing cases as appropriate
• Managing a diverse and sometimes complex caseload
• Preparing high-quality reports and court statements
• Working closely with internal teams and external agencies to deliver the best outcomes

To be considered for the role:

• Registered Social Worker with Social Work England (SWE)
• A recognised qualification in Social Work (e.g., BA, BSc, or equivalent)
• Ideally, prior experience in a Children's Duty and Assessment Team
• Strong assessment, decision-making, and communication skills
