This role supports the achievement of client and regulatory requirements by delivering assurance activities and providing subject matter expertise across the business. It involves maintaining management systems, facilitating audits, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and driving continuous improvement through effective monitoring, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and improve the Integrated / Quality Management System (IMS / QMS), including audit outputs and documentation control Plan, support, and deliver internal and external audit and assessment programmes Facilitate third-party audits and ensure timely and effective closure of findings and NCRs Ensure compliance to ISO 9001, ISO 1090 and ISO 3834. Carry out Root Cause Analysis using 5 Whys, Fishbone and 8Ds. Monitor and report KPI data, identifying risks, trends, and improvement opportunities Provide quality assurance training, guidance, and support across the businessRequirements
Proven experience in Quality Assurance role. Experience within Manufacturing - Machine build, Steel Fabrication, Nuclear, Defence, Aerospace. Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, and preferably ISO 1090 & EN 3834. Location: Chorley Permanent Salary: £40k - £45k Working Hours: 4 day working week! Monday - Thursday, Full Time. Benefits: 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, 5% pension from employer, MediCash Health.
