My Client have grown into one of the largest speciality machinists and suppliers of plastics in the United Kingdom. They are a leading UK based specialist manufacturer. Excelling in the design & manufacture of machined & fabricated components, along with engineering & supply services for over 30 years. Due to further expansion and promotion internally, they are looking for a Quality Inspector to join the team on a permanent basis. Role Purpose The Quality Inspector supports the inspection of components, assemblies, and finished at different stage of production to ensure they meet drawings, specifications, and basic quality requirements. The role focuses on following instructions, learning inspection processes, and helping maintain product and quality documentation throughout production. Key Responsibilities Inspection & Production Support Carry out first-off, in-process, and final inspections. Check parts against drawings, basic specifications, and inspection sheets Use measuring tools such as verniers, micrometeors and gauges Record inspection results clearly and accurately in company systems or paperwork Report any defects or issues Support production teams by highlighting quality concerns in a timely manner Main Responsibilities Complete inspection tasks within allocated time where possible Follow daily priorities set by the Quality Manager Highlight delays or issues affecting work completion Generate reports Package Hours of work - Mon - Thurs 7:50am - 4:20pm, Fri - 8am - 3:30pm Excellent Company Pension scheme Flexible working optional Free on-site parking Personal development plan and opportunities for growth Additional holiday with length of service Close for Bank Holidays & Christmas shutdown £32k - £35k
