Up to £415/day PAYE or £564/day Umbrella (DOE) We are currently recruiting for an experienced
Quality Management Lead (QML)
to support a major, high-profile infrastructure project in Somerset. This is a key site-based role, ensuring quality requirements are met across the full project lifecycle, from contract award through to construction, commissioning, and close-out Quality Management Lead Civils- . The Role As Quality Management Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring supply chain and contractor compliance with agreed Quality Assurance and Quality Control requirements. You will work closely with internal teams, contractors, and inspection bodies to ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently, and right first time. The role is site-based approximately
3 days per week , with
2 days supporting off-site and supply-chain activities
as required. Key Responsibilities Implement and manage project QA/QC arrangements across civils works Develop, maintain, and deploy
Project Quality Control Plans (PQCPs) Review and monitor Contractor Quality Assurance Plans (CQAPs) Manage manufacturing surveillance, inspections, and audits Lead non-conformance management and quality improvement actions Coordinate quality documentation, ITPs, LTQRs, and Quality Release processes Act as a key quality interface between project teams, contractors, and inspection bodies About You HNC/HND or Degree in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline Strong experience in quality management within
