Key Responsibilities


  • Provide technical support and advice to customers.
  • Maintain and create product information documents and databases.
  • Support the QA & Systems Manager in maintaining third-party approvals.
  • Assist the Customer Service team with technical information and phone cover.
  • Attend industry events and exhibitions in a technical support capacity.
  • Manage a dedicated technical support line for branded products.
  • Visit customer sites as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the Technical Sales Manager to develop customer requirements on product specifications.

Ideal Skills and Experience


Professional telephone manner and effective face-to-face communication skills.

Adaptable, willing to learn, and develop technical knowledge.

Team player with the ability to use initiative.

Experience in the plumbing and heating sector is preferable.

Knowledge of quality systems and product approvals is desired.

Strong IT literacy, including Word and Excel; Sage experience is an advantage.

Enthusiasm for new technology and excellent organisational skills.
