Quantity Surveyor Overview:
You will be responsible for the commercial management of groundworks and civils projects from pre-construction through to final account, working closely with experienced operational and commercial teams.
Typical projects include:
Residential developments (100500+ units)
Large groundworks and infrastructure packages
Project values typically £5m£30m+
Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities:
Cost control, reporting and forecasting
Measurement, valuations and variations
Managing subcontractor procurement and accounts
Preparing client applications and final accounts
Working closely with site teams to protect margins
(Level of responsibility will reflect experience.)
Quantity Surveyor Requirements:
Experience within groundworks, civils or infrastructure
Background as an Assistant, Intermediate or Senior Quantity Surveyor
Strong commercial awareness and cost control skills
Confident working with drawings, budgets and subcontractors
Ambitious and keen to progress within a growing business
