Job Profile for Quantity Surveyor (Groundworks & RC Frame)

Location: Brighton / Worthing (initially based in Wickham, Southampton)

Salary: Up to £70,000 (dependent on experience)

An established and growing Groundworks & RC Frame contractor is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. The role will initially be office-based in Wickham, Southampton, before transitioning to a long term site-based projects across Brighton and Worthing.

Working closely with the Managing Quantity Surveyor, the successful candidate will take ownership of day-to-day commercial management across live projects, with exposure to both residential and large RC frame developments.

Monitoring project costs and maintaining financial control Producing CVRs, cost reports, and forecasts Preparing and agreeing valuations Managing subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and accounts Identifying and managing variations and change control Liaising with site teams, clients, and consultants Supporting tendering and procurement activities where requiredQuantity Surveyor - Job Requirements
