Quantity Surveyor - Refurbishment & Fit Out Projects\n\nLocation: Central London | Hybrid Working\n\nPSR is currently working with a well-established and growing construction business to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor. Our client operates across the refurbishment and retrofit market, delivering high-quality projects in sectors including commercial, residential, education, and leisure.\n\nThis contractor has built a strong reputation for delivering safe, sustainable, and well-managed schemes, with project values typically ranging from smaller works through to multi-million-pound contracts. With planned expansion and new workstreams launching over the coming year, this role presents an excellent opportunity to join the business at an exciting stage of its growth.\n\nThe Opportunity\n\nThis position would suit a commercially astute Quantity Surveyor who is looking to take ownership of projects and play a meaningful role in a growing organisation.

Working closely with senior management and operational teams, you will be involved from early commercial stages through to final account, contributing to both project success and wider business objectives.\n\nThe role offers exposure to a fast-moving environment where initiative, collaboration, and commercial awareness are highly valued.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nOversee the commercial performance of refurbishment projects from pre-contract through to completion\n\nProcure and manage subcontract packages and supply chain relationships\n\nMaintain and develop strong working relationships with clients and consultants\n\nCollaborate closely with site and delivery teams to ensure projects run efficiently\n\nPrepare cost reports, forecasts, and final accounts\n\nCandidate Requirements\n\nDegree -qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline\n\nMinimum of 4 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying or commercial role\n\nDemonstrable experience delivering financially successful construction projects\n\nConfident communicator with strong written and verbal skills\n\nEligible to work in the UK without restriction\n\nPersonal Attributes\n\nSelf-motivated and capable of managing workloads independently\n\nStrong understanding of refurbishment and construction environments\n\nComfortable using digital systems and learning new platforms\n\nProfessional and personable approach when dealing with clients and subcontractors\n\nDetail -oriented with a collaborative mindset\n\nAdaptable, positive, and solutions-focused\n\nPackage & Benefits\n\nSalary in the region of £50,000 - £70,000, dependent on experience\n\nTravel allowance\n\nHybrid working model (office-based with flexibility for home working 1 day a week)\n\nSupportive team culture with a genuine focus on work-life balance\n\nOngoing training and development opportunities\n\nPSR encourages applications from candidates of all backgrounds and is committed to promoting equal opportunities throughout the recruitment process.
