Quantity Surveyor You will take a leading role on one of the UK’s most significant rail infrastructure programmes, managing commercial delivery for major tunnel and civils packages. This is a chance to move beyond standard cost reporting and drive high-value commercial strategy on a high-profile scheme in London. What you will need Valid right to work in the UK. Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or four years of equivalent industry experience. Essential experience in NEC contract management. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for commercial reporting. Major project experience is essential for those applying at Senior level. Your package Competitive salary based on experience and seniority. Travel support including commuting or travel card provisions. The work Lead the commercial management of complex sub-contracts from initial tender through to final account. Produce accurate monthly cost reports, forecasts, and contract budget documentation for major civil works. Identify and manage contractual risks and opportunities to ensure efficient project delivery. Liaise directly with project management, engineering, and client teams to ensure full contract compliance. Maintain rigorous cost control and manage change control processes within a fast-paced environment. What you bring Proven background in heavy civil engineering or large-scale infrastructure projects. Capability to manage package delivery rather than just close-outs or minor sub-contracts. Proactive approach to problem-solving and a drive for continuous professional development. Ability to work effectively within a joint venture environment. Experience with Power BI or similar data tools is advantageous. Strategic mindset with the ability to influence technical and commercial stakeholders. The working pattern is a fixed hybrid model of three days in the office and two days on site. This is a permanent role.
