The Role

You’ll play a key part in the commercial delivery of multiple retail projects across the UK, working closely with project teams to ensure schemes are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standard. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys taking ownership of their work.

Key Responsibilities

* Managing the commercial aspects of retail / Industrial construction projects from inception to completion

* Preparing cost plans, valuations, variations, and final accounts

* Procuring subcontractors and managing ongoing commercial relationships

* Working collaboratively with site teams, clients, and stakeholders

* Ensuring accurate forecasting, reporting, and cost control throughout each project

About You

* Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor environment

* Strong commercial acumen and excellent communication skills

* Experience working on retail, fit‑out, or fast‑track projects is advantageous

* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

* A proactive, solutions‑focused approach
