About the Role
The client is seeking a motivated Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial management of construction projects from pre-construction through to final account. Working alongside senior commercial staff and project teams, the successful candidate will assist in managing project costs, procurement, and financial reporting to ensure projects are delivered on budget.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting with the preparation and management of project budgets and cost plans
* Supporting procurement and tender processes for subcontractor packages
* Preparing valuations, variations, and cost reports
* Monitoring project costs and supporting financial control
* Liaising with contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders
* Assisting with contract administration and final account processes
About the Requirements
* Previous experience working as a Quantity Surveyor or Assistant Quantity Surveyor within construction
* Understanding of construction contracts and cost management practices
* Strong organisational and analytical skills
* Good communication and stakeholder management abilities
* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field (preferred)
* Ability to work within a team and manage multiple project tasks efficiently
