Salary: £65,000–£70,000 per annum
Location: Central London (2 to 3 days per week)
I am looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join a client-side consultancy team, supporting the procurement and delivery of complex technical packages on a high-profile infrastructure programme. This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid grasp of both pre- and post-contract commercial activity, particularly in procuring technically intricate systems.
Requirements:
Strong understanding of procurement processes on complex projects
NEC or FIDIC contract experience.
Proven experience in infrastructure, rail, energy, or other complex technical environments.
Confidence in engaging technical stakeholders and navigating commercial processes.
Chartership is but not essential.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate well-rounded experience across both procurement and delivery stages.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end procurement activities, including preparation of tender documentation, supplier engagement, and commercial evaluation.
Work closely with internal procurement leads and technical experts to shape and deliver procurement strategy.
Manage contract award processes and support post-award commercial oversight
Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of major packages.
Assist in the installation phase of procured systems, ensuring compliance with commercial expectations
This will be a 2 to 3 stage interview process including with the consultancy’s client
