With very low staff turnover and a collaborative culture, this is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute Quantity Surveyor to join a stable and well-regarded contractor where employees are valued and long-term careers are developed.The RoleYou will be responsible for the commercial management of planned maintenance and refurbishment projects from pre-construction through to final account. Working closely with the project delivery team, you will ensure schemes are delivered efficiently, commercially, and in line with client expectations.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging the commercial aspects of planned maintenance and residential refurbishment projectsPreparing cost plans, budgets, and financial forecastsSubcontractor procurement, negotiation, and contract administrationManaging valuations, variations, and payment applicationsMonitoring project costs and providing accurate financial reportingManaging risk and identifying commercial opportunitiesPreparing and agreeing final accountsSupporting the wider project team to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budgetRequirementsPrevious experience working as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within construction or refurbishment Experience working on planned maintenance, refurbishment, or residential projects is advantageousStrong commercial awareness and contract knowledgeExcellent communication and negotiation skillsAbility to manage multiple projects within a framework environmentRelevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management (preferred)PackageSalary up to £65,000 depending on experienceCompany car or car allowanceCompany pension schemeGenerous holiday entitlementPrivate healthcareSecure pipeline of work through long-term framework agreementsExcellent working environment with low staff turnover and strong team cultureJBRP1_UKTJ
