Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Quantity Surveyor based in Sale. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing cost submissions, scrutinising proposals and providing assessments, overseeing cost control and planning, and managing project budgets. Additional tasks include cost reporting, tracking project expenses, and liaising with stakeholders to ensure financial efficiency throughout the project lifecycle. The successful candidate will work closely with the project management team to achieve desired financial outcomes and ensure overall project success.


Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience in cost control, cost management, and cost reporting methodologies
  • Strong skills in cost planning and financial analysis within the construction industry
  • Attention to detail and a clear understanding of project financial requirements
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a professional team
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline
  • Professional accreditation with an industry body, such as RICS, is an advantage, or be on the pathway to achieve it.
  • Two years + post graduate experience is ideally required for this role
