Quantity Surveyor

£50,000 - £60,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus

Sevenoaks, Kent (Hybrid Working)


Are you a Quantity Surveyor looking to take ownership of a flagship residential scheme while working for a housebuilder that genuinely invests in its people?


We are working with a well-established national developer, known for delivering high-quality homes and offering long-term career progression, to appoint a Quantity Surveyor within their South East team.


You will play a key role on a major multi-phase development in Kent, supported by an experienced and stable commercial team.

The Role

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will take responsibility for the commercial performance of your developments, including:

  • Managing projects from pre-construction through to final account
  • Procuring and managing subcontractor packages
  • Preparing budgets, cost plans and forecasts
  • Valuing subcontractor applications and managing payments
  • Producing CVRs and reporting on commercial performance
  • Managing variations and cost changes
  • Working closely with site, technical and land teams


About You

  • Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within housebuilding or residential development
  • Strong knowledge of subcontract procurement and cost control
  • Experience managing subcontractor packages and valuations
  • Understanding of CVRs and commercial reporting
  • Familiarity with COINS or similar systems (desirable)
  • Relevant qualification (HNC, HND or Degree) preferred
