We're currently supporting a fantastic client looking for an additional Quantity Surveyor to join their team in the West Midlands.\nAbout The Contractor:\nThey are a Tier 1 Main Contractor with a proven track record of successfully delivering high-profile construction projects across the UK & Europe. They're committed to excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction which has now led to additional growth.\nOverview:\nAs a Quantity Surveyor, you will be a vital member of the project team, responsible for managing aspects of the commercial and contractual activities on the assigned sections of the project. Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring the project's financial success and delivering it to the highest standards of quality, within budget and on schedule.\nResponsibilities:\n * Design concept, cost and price estimation\n * Negotiation and presentation of contracts (for clients and subcontractors), respectively tender documents\n * Building contract scrutiny and terms of contract analysis\n * Quantities measurements, project cash flow prediction\n * Acquisition and assessment of client requirements, including after-sales service and CRM\n * Conducting comprehensive cost estimation and preparing accurate cost plans\n * Managing subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and agreement of terms\n * Monitoring project costs and variations, providing proactive cost advice and control measures\n * Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and risk management\nRequirements:\n * Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.\n * Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or a related field.\n * Experience with projects in the Industrial, Warehouse of Shed environments would be a distinct advantage.\n * A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.\n * Happy to work on-site 5 days a week in Birmingham with travel to site as needed.\nBenefits:\n * £60,000 - £85,000 + Package (depending on experience).\n * Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.\n * Involvement in high-profile projects with a reputable Main Contractor
