Quantity Surveyor Salary & Benefits Salary: £45,000
- £65,000 (DOE) Location: 2 days per week in Portsmouth office with UK-wide travel and hybrid working 25-30 days holiday Bank Holidays Hybrid working available Pension scheme Project bonus scheme Company bonus scheme 4 years death-in-service cover Critical illness cover Regular team and company-wide social events Comprehensive in-house and external training and development Access to Udemy and other training platforms Office facilities include stocked kitchen and shower Charity fundraising days Quantity Surveyor Job Overview Full commercial and contractual responsibility for multiple envelope/cladding remediation projects Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, CVRs, and project cash flows Manage subcontractor procurement, valuations, and final accounts Negotiate contract terms and manage risk and cost exposure Ensure accurate financial reporting in line with project progress Liaise with project teams, senior management, and external stakeholders Frequent site visits across the UK with up to 2 days per week in the Portsmouth office Quantity Surveyor Requirements 5 years' experience in faade, cladding or external envelope-related surveying Strong technical, contractual, and commercial understanding Excellent communication and client-facing skills Self-motivated with the ability to work across multiple live projects Based within a commutable distance of Portsmouth and willing to travel nationwide What makes this opportunity different?
