NEOS Engineering Recruitment are partnered with a leading name in the crushing & screening and heavy plant sector , who are looking to bring in an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support a major groundworks & remediation project in the Scottish Highlands.
This is a significant earthworks project involving large-scale material movement , kicking off on 8th June , with long-term potential and strong backing from an established business.
The Role
Commercial management of a major groundworks & remediation project
Managing costs across bulk earthworks / large-scale material movement
Subcontractor management, valuations, and final accounts
Supporting project delivery team with commercial insight and reporting
Working closely with site teams on a live, fast-paced project
Ensuring projects are delivered on budget and in line with contractual obligations
The Candidate
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction, groundworks or earthworks
Strong understanding of bulk excavation / heavy civils projects
Comfortable working on large-scale, fast-moving projects
Ability to manage subcontractors and commercial processes end-to-end
Strong communication skills with both site and senior stakeholders
Open to working in Inverness / Highlands (accommodation provided if required)
