Salary & Package : £50,000 - £60,000 + package (will pay more for exceptional candidates)

Quantity Surveyor Opportunity
My client is a well-established, privately owned residential housebuilder with a strong reputation for delivering quality homes across the Midlands and surrounding regions. Due to continued growth, the company is now seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their Midlands team to be responsible for the commercial performance of multiple residential developments, playing a key role in cost control, margin protection, and overall project profitability.
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will take responsibility for:

Managing the full commercial lifecycle of residential developments from budget to final account
Procuring subcontract packages and managing valuations, variations, and final accounts
Controlling costs and maintaining development margins
Producing accurate cost reports, forecasts, and CVRs
Managing procurement processes and negotiating subcontractor and supplier contracts
Identifying commercial risks and value engineering opportunities
Building strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and site team
Quantity Surveyor Requirements:
HND or higher qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction or equivalent
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor
Strong commercial awareness and a good understand of budget management.
Excellent communication and networking skills
Good IT skills and proficient with COINs
Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to reconcile any potential cost disputes
Ability to forecast risk and report accurately
Full UK Driving license required to travel between sites
