offer a broad range of civil engineering services to both the commercial and industrial sectors including; groundworks, utilities, fibre and rail. They are looking for a Quantity Surveyor who can either be permanent or freelance to be based out of their head office close to Altrincham. Role and Requirements of the Quantity Surveyor - Civil Engineering / Rail Our client are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their successful and growing commercial team. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for managing various Civil Engineering & Rail projects from tender stage through to final account ensuring the smooth financial management of projects under your control. Responsibilities Estimating / Pricing Day to day administration contracts Capture change Production of weekly/monthly P & L's Liaising with project teams on a daily Prepare quotes for variation works. Take off foundations, drainage, external works for tendering purposes Requirements of the Quantity Surveyor - Civil Engineering / Rail BSc or Degree in Quantity Surveying (preferred but not essential) 3 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor. Experience of working within Rail Good technical and contractual knowledge Computer literate Highly motivated and keen to progress within the company This is a great opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor who wants to progress their career.
