Waites Recruitment Consultancy are working with a client based in Southampton who is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a groundwork and rc frame works background and knowledge. Fantastic opportunity for a full time role.

Location: Brighton / Worthing areas (Initially attending Head Office in Wickham, Southampton before transitioning to site)
Job Type: Full Time – Permanent
Start Date: April 2026
Salary: £45k- £75k dependent on experience
Role Overview
My client is seeking an experienced Groundworks & RC Frame Quantity Surveyor to join our growing commercial team. The successful candidate will initially be based in our Wickham, Southampton head office, before transitioning to a site-based role on projects in the Brighton and Worthing area, with visits to head office as required.
Under the direction and guidance of the Managing Surveyor, the successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day responsibilities listed below.
Key Responsibilities
Monitoring project costs and maintaining financial control throughout Project Delivery
Produce cost reports, forecasts and CVRs
Prepare and agree valuations
Subcontractor/ Labour procurement, negotiation, and management
Identify, collate, and manage variations. Ever vigilant of change control
