New Requirement: Chartered Quantity Surveyor – Remote (UK based) We are recruiting for a RICS chartered Quantity Surveyor to support the review and sign off of decommissioning studies for solar PV projects. This role offers flexibility through remote working and will be carried out on an ad-hoc basis over an initial 3–6 month period. Location: Remote (UK) Contract Type: Ad-hoc Contract (3–6 months) Start Date: September 2025 Key Responsibilities Review and provide sign off on decommissioning studies for solar PV projects. Ensure compliance with relevant standards, industry best practices, and contractual obligations. Assess cost estimates, methodologies, and assumptions within decommissioning reports. Provide professional advice and recommendations to project stakeholders. Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other technical professionals to validate findings. Requirements RICS Chartered status (mandatory). Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within infrastructure, construction, or engineering projects. Experience in decommissioning studies is desirable; renewables sector experience . Solid background in civil or electrical infrastructure or building services is essential. Strong analytical and reporting skills. Ability to work independently and deliver quality outputs within agreed timelines. Desirable Skills/Experience Knowledge of renewables sector (solar, wind, or other related technologies). Experience with CAPEX/OPEX cost analysis for large infrastructure projects.
