The FI Construction team are excited to be recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team in a full time, permanent basis. The right candidate will have the ability to multi-task and prioritise workload to meet deadlines and will have excellent organisational skills and extensive civil works experience.
The role will be based in Chorley, Lancashire, but may require travel to other sites so driving licence and flexibility is required.
Your key duties as a Quantity Surveyor will be… · An ability to understand and comply with Company Procedures · Achieve or exceed budgeted margin by looking for opportunities, alternative methods of completing the works and buying gains from S/C Procurement without compromise to relationships · Valuations are submitted in accordance with the conditions of the main contract and that payments are received by the due date, taking full responsibility for the contracts cash position · Complete monthly CVR reports, ensuring they accurately reflect the current position on site and the final profit projection · Administer the main contract conditions and identify and prepare...
