Quantity Surveyor We have an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join an established main contractor based in Portsmouth. The business has a steady pipeline of projects across Hampshire and Surrey with projects valuing up to £5mil. As a result of increased opportunity, they're looking to expand the commercial team with an additional Quantity Surveyor. About the role of Quantity Surveyor: As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing your own projects valued anywhere from £250k - £5mil. You may be asked to manage multiple projects concurrently, reporting into the Commercial Manager. Key Responsibilities as Quantity Surveyor: Manage sub-contract procurement Manage sub-contractors accounts on site, dealing with variations Manage monthly valuations and liaise with the client Deal with final accounts Key Requirements for this Quantity Surveyor position: Have a HNC / construction related degree Have administered JCT / NEC forms of contract Must have the full right to work in the UK Must live within commutable distance to Portsmouth.
