Job Title: Commercial Manager - Drylining Specialist Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Company Overview: We are a well-established and respected building and construction subcontractor operating across Thames Valley Corridor. Responsibility of the Quantity Surveyor - Drylining Specialist: Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring commercial success across a portfolio of Drylining projects. Key Responsibilities: * Prepare and manage accurate cost estimates for a variety of drylining projects * Monitor project budgets and provide regular financial reporting * Conduct feasibility studies and advise on project viability and cost planning * Liaise with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure cost-effective solutions * Oversee procurement, tendering, and contract negotiation processes * Develop and implement effective cost control strategies throughout project life cycles * Maintain detailed and accurate project financial records * Support and advise on contractual matters, claims, and dispute resolution Requirements: * Strong experience in cost management on construction or refurbishment projects * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Strong background in Drylining Packages (5 years minimum) What We Offer: * Monday to Friday work schedule * Opportunity to work with a collaborative and professional team across a range of high-quality drylining projects * Company events and socials * Car allowance
