About the Client:

Our client is a goods distributor seeking Warehouse Operatives to join their team on a temporary basis, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. The client operates a large warehouse equipped with facilities such as a canteen, smoking area, free parking, and lockers.

Role Overview:

We’re seeking skilled Reach Truck Operators to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The role involves moving, storing, and picking stock using PPT equipment, alongside general warehouse duties.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Receiving, sorting, and unloading incoming stock
2. Picking orders and handling dispatch paperwork
3. Operating Reach trucks for stock movement and storage
4. Performing pre-use safety checks on equipment
5. Accurate picking and stock placement using paperwork

Requirements:

1. A valid Reach truck certificate
2. Previous experience operating Reach machinery
3. Physically fit with the ability to perform manual handling tasks
4. Strong attention to detail for paperwork accuracy
5. Good communication skills with managers and team members
6. Basic computer skills for data entry
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
