The school are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Reception teacher to join them after Easter for the duration of the summer term. This is a full-time role with full teaching responsibilities, although part-time may be considered for the right candidate.

Your new role Planning and delivering engaging, play-based learning experiences that support early development across all EYFS areas. Creating a warm, inclusive classroom environment where children feel safe, confident and eager to explore. Working closely with teaching assistants and EYFS colleagues to ensure consistency and high-quality provision. Observing, assessing and recording children's progress, using this information to shape next steps in learning. Contributing positively to the wider school community and modelling the school's values in daily practice.

What you'll need to succeed Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification. Experience teaching within the EYFS, ideally in a Reception setting. Strong understanding of early childhood development and the EYFS framework. Warm, nurturing approach with the ability to build trusting relationships with young learners. Confident communication skills and a collaborative working style.
