The Person The ideal candidate will be an experienced and reliable engineer with a strong technical background and a professional approach. Essential skills and experience: NVQ Level 2 (minimum) in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
Current F-Gas certification
Full UK driving licence
Proven experience in fault finding and diagnostics
Competence in pressure testing, evacuation, dehydration and refrigerant charging
Good electrical knowledge (single and three phase) and ability to read wiring diagrams
Desirable: Experience with VRV/VRF systems and chillers
Additional qualities: Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication skills with both colleagues and customers
Professional and customer-focused attitude
Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics and manuals
Proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills
Basic IT skills (training provided)
Flexible approach to overtime when required
Positive work ethic with a can-do attitude
The role and responsibilities An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Service Engineer to join a growing and professional team. Key responsibilities include: Field-based service, maintenance and repair of refrigeration and air conditioning systems
Fault finding, diagnostics and breakdown repairs
Attending reactive service calls (including participation in an on-call rota
approx. 1 in 10 weeks, depending on team size)
Carrying out occasional planned preventative maintenance
Location
This is a mobile role covering industrial, commercial and residential sites, primarily across the South of England and London, with travel from the Eynsham, Oxfordshire area.
