The OpportunityWe're seeking an experienced Refrigeration Project Manager to lead the delivery of commercial refrigeration projects across new store developments, remodels, and asset replacement programmes.This role is heavily focused on refrigeration commissioning and installation, with responsibility for managing associated electrical and M&E works to ensure seamless project delivery.Salary up to £59,000 plus package and bonus.You'll take full ownership of projects from initial survey through to commissioning and handover, ensuring systems are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest technical standards.What You'll Be DoingLead and manage refrigeration commissioning, installation, and electrical teams across multiple sitesDeliver full lifecycle refrigeration projects, from site survey through to commissioning and client handoverConduct detailed site surveys and produce accurate quotations for refrigeration and associated worksOversee the installation and commissioning of commercial refrigeration systems, ensuring performance meets design and specificationWork closely with Construction Managers and stakeholders to deliver snag-free, fully operational refrigeration systems on timePlan and manage labour, specialist subcontractors, and plant requirements for refrigeration installsEnsure all works comply with F-Gas regulations, health & safety standards, and company HSE proceduresPrepare and manage RAMS, commissioning plans, and technical documentation specific to refrigeration systemsAttend key project meetings (pre-start, technical, commissioning, and handover)Collaborate with Quantity Surveyors to control costs and manage project variationsTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to refrigeration systems, commissioning, and installationMonitor subcontractor performance to ensure quality and efficiency on-siteManage all project documentation, including O&M manuals and refrigeration compliance recordsDrive high-quality delivery, ensuring minimal snagging and rapid resolution of defectsLead, develop, and motivate your team, ensuring strong technical and safety performanceWhat Success Looks LikeRefrigeration systems commissioned and handed over on time and fully operationalSnagging issues resolved within 6 working daysHealth & Safety and F-Gas compliance maintained across all projectsLabour, plant, and subcontractor costs controlled within budgetProjects delivered to target profit marginsHigh standards of technical quality and system performanceAbout YouYou'll have strong experience managing commercial refrigeration projects, with a solid understanding of commissioning, system performance, and compliance (including F-Gas).You're a confident leader who can manage engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders, while maintaining a hands-on approach to technical delivery when needed.Refrigeration Project Manager - Leeds Refrigeration Project Manager - Leeds LeedsCalibre Search promote equality in the workplace and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified candidates regardless of their sex, race, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age.
