Our client, operating within the public service sector, is currently seeking a Registered Building Inspector - Class 2A to join their team in the Stratford-on-Avon district on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Conducting detailed inspections of buildings to ensure compliance with building control regulations

Reviewing and approving building plans and specifications

Identifying and reporting on any deviations from approved plans

Providing expert advice on building control matters to developers, contractors, and the public

Issuing completion certificates and other relevant documentation upon successful inspection

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of inspections and related activities

Collaborating with colleagues and other stakeholders to resolve building control issues

Staying abreast of changes and updates to building control regulations and best practices

Job Requirements:

Experience in building control or related areas

Strong understanding of building control regulations and compliance

Ability to read and interpret building plans and specifications

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

Proficient in maintaining thorough and accurate inspection records

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Relevant qualification in building control or a related field
